Attorney Ryan C. Smith procured both his business and law degree from the University of Memphis. In law school, Smith was on the staff of the University of Memphis Law Review, and clerked for a law firm focusing exclusively on family law matters, gaining valuable experience drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, and assisting experienced attorneys tackle complex legal issues. Following law school, Smith joined that law firm as an associate attorney, prior to embarking on his journey as a solo practitioner.
In 2015, Smith relocated his solo practice from Memphis to the greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area, where he now assists clients with legal issues throughout Hamilton County. In January, 2017, Smith joined veteran lawyers Leslie B. McWilliams and Barry L. Gold to form McWilliams, Smith & Gold, a firm dedicated to assisting clients in a range of family law issues. With over seventy (70) years combined practice, McWilliams, Smith & Gold has the experience, competence, and zealous desire to assist clients who have family law related issues.
